Before you buy a Roamvy plan, make sure your device is unlocked and eSIM-compatible.
Some devices may be locked if tied to a contract or may not support eSIM, depending on the model.
How to check if your device is unlocked?
You can either contact your current carrier to confirm, or insert a SIM card from another carrier — if it works, your device is unlocked.
You can also follow the steps below based on your device type:
iPhone:
Go to Settings > Cellular > Add eSIM
If you see “Add eSIM”, your device is likely unlocked and eSIM-compatible.
Android:
Go to Settings > Network & Internet > SIMs
If you see “Add mobile plan” or “Download a SIM”, your device is likely unlocked and supports eSIM.
